"Haute Couture" Cissy Doll

Madame Alexander issued this 20" Cissy Doll named "Haute Couture" in 2001.

The skirt and jacket are lined in pink taffeta.  She wears a strapless bodysuit underneath, made of black lace over pink taffeta.  The black bead necklace has a dramatic design.  The large hat is made of many feathers. She has black thigh-high hose and black shoes. All in all, this is a striking outfit.

Haute Couture's blonde wig is styled in a chic chignon.

Here she is wearing an outfit from the Madame Alexander European Travel Trunk set.  The simple black sheath dress has a square neck and closes in back with a zipper.  There is a white linen bolero with two black buttons for closure.  The large black and white hat has a bow in back.  Tres chic!

Although Haute Couture never really lets her hair down, she does like to dress casually once in a while.  I made her a pair of blue jeans and a red knit turtleneck shirt.

Even at bedtime, Haute Couture likes to look fashionable.  She has an embroidered chiffon gown trimmed in Venise lace, made by BonBon.

This pink satin tea-length gown has a "retro" look, with its black trim and dropped waist.  There is a fluffy waistband and shoulder poufs made of chiffon.  Designed and made by BonBon.  The jewelry is from her original outfit.

A lovely boudoir set for Haute Couture, with a white lace onesie, white stockings, and a white sheer negligee.  Made by a talented eBay seamstress.

This dress is made from exquisite silk taffeta embroidered with pink roses.  It is my design, and has two pieces.  The top is shirred at the waist and fits snugly over a fitted yoke on the full skirt. There is a pink flower corsage at the top for trim.

I made a necklace, bracelet, and earrings from pink and gold beads, to match this dress.

On cold days, Haute Couture wears this black faux fur coat, made by a talented eBay seamstress.

Designed and made by BonBon of silk organza and white satin, this dress features a ruffled collar with a flower trim at the bodice.
